Derelict

Synopsis:  One ominous night, a small local coast guard station off of the Atlantic receives a faint radio distress signal.  Coast Guard Captain James Curtis sets off to investigate the signal.  After an hour and a half of searching through the dense fog, James stumbles upon an old steamer ship looks like the steamer named the: Typhoon, a ship purchased years ago by a private company rumored to conduct chemical and biological experiments for the U.S. military.  The ship served as the perfect research platform - out of reach from the law in International waters and away from the general population.  The Coast Guard had been warned by the CIA to stay away from the vessel.  When it went missing; the official report was that it sank.  Reluctantly, the team boards the Typhoon to investigate.  They search the bridge only to discover blood-splattered walls.  The ships engine, electronics gear appear to be in good shape.  But the entire crew appears to have abandoned the ship or gone missing.  As James and the other team members explore the vessel, they come across several survivors from the party boat as well as half eaten corpses and other strange phenomenon.  Whatever the unnatural experiments were that the military conducted on board, something went horribly wrong and the surviving crew were mutated into ghastly creatures bent on destruction. As the coast guard team goes deeper into the hull of the ship, they encounter ethereal figures and rampaging mutants, which are now killing off James’ crew one by one.  Can the team survive long enough to destroy the vessel and escape or will they share the same fate as the ship's crew.
